365 POND TOUR® EXPERIENCE DISPLAY LOCATIONS
REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA
Exotic Aquatics Headquarters
609 Amigos Dr Unit 1
Redlands, California 92373
This is what set the whole "Tranquility Pond" in motion. If you have a section on your property that is screaming for a
waterscape but you feel like the area is just way to small, then this is a must see 365 Pond Tour Stop. The 5' x 7' Tranquility Pond is tucked into a tiny
section of the property that normally would be disregarded. This waterscape is designed to be a focal point not only as you approach
our main entrance but as a focal point from the interior of the building in front large bay of office windows.
This tranquil waterscape delivers plenty of impact with a waterfall, pond skimmer, underwater lighting,
a fish cave and some large specimen accent boulders. Who would of thought you could fit it all into such a small area. To make it even more interesting this
this waterscape is a fantastic Japanese Water Garden display that I can assure you, everyone will fall in love with. We even consulted with a Japanese Garden
expert to ensure complete authenticity of plant selections, stone statue placement and bamboo fencing! It will blow you away!

Daryl's Pet Shop
860 W. Redlands Blvd.
Redlands, California 92374
This unique 10' x 14' waterscape, with its 30-inch cascading waterfall, is located 100% above the ground to offer a
new perspective on ponds. Exotic Aquatics maintains this waterscape as one of its outdoor showrooms. In addition to a full line of animals, pet accessories,
pond supplies, tropical fish, reptiles, aquatic plants, aquariums, dog food and the cutest hand selected puppies you'll find anywhere,
Daryl's Pet Shop sells Specific Pathogen Free (S.P.F.) Koi and other pond fish. S.P.F. Koi means that Daryl's Pet Shop has taken the time and effort to ensure
that their patrons get disease and parasite free pond fish!
Daryl's Pet Shop quarantines all of their Koi and pond fish for a full three weeks before offering
them for sell! Don't purchase koi or ANY pond fish for your pond and jeapordize your prized population from any vendor that does not quarantine! We get dozens
of calls each year regarding sick and diseased pond fish. Nine and a half times out of ten the problem can be traced back to a new fish addition to the pond.
In the fall of 2006 this pond was retro-fitted with a back flushable waterfall filter making the maintenance of this
waterscape a dream. No more draining the pond completely each year and removing the Koi to clean the gravel! We now have a back flushable biological
waterfall filter installed on location. If the shop isn't to crowded with customers ask one of the managers if they can take the time to show you a backflush demonstration.
You'll be amazed at how easy this pond filter is to clean!

San Bernardino County Museum
2024 Orange Tree Ln
Redlands, California 92374
This pond has a special place in my heart because when I first dove into building ponds exclusively I toured the Museum and
saw a sign that said, "Future location for our pond". The sign was in front of the Discovery Hall, now named The Exploratory Center, and had obviously been there
for a long time. When I enquired about the sign no one even knew what I was talking about!
It was apparent to me they need my help. I then decided to donate the water feature to the museum as a way to give back to
my community. We built them a 10' x 14' pond with a small waterfall that sets the entry to the Exploratory Center off! Stop by and visit the water feature and see
what other exciting things the San Bernardino County Museum has to offer.
San Bernardino County Museum Directions:Take the I-10 EAST, exit CALIFORNIA STREET, turn left on
CALIFORNIA STREET and then take a RIGHT on ORANGE TREE LANE.

before the side walk.
Whether you are looking for a residential or commercial property, Lois Lauer Reality is a fantastic resource to turn to.

University of Redlands
The LaFourcade Garden
1200 E. Colton Ave.
Redlands, California 92374
This 11’ x 16’ pond with a 50’ long stream, believe it or not, was built in one day at a Pond Construction Seminar
in early 2004. The Pond Construction Seminar was a kick off point for this once lost location on campus. Weeds once ruled this area and now as you can
see for yourself, it is a park-like setting established for events with decomposed granite pathways, vegetable gardens and groomed
flowerbeds and lawn.
"The LaFourcade Garden offers students, faculty and community members a quiet place to gather," said Tony Mueller,
director of Community Service Learning. It's named in honor of Ron LaFourcade, who passed away last year and whose family includes several Redlands alumni.

YUCAIPA, CALIFORNIA
Newell Nurseries
34017 Yucaipa Blvd.
Yucaipa, California 92399
Waterscape Feature One: On June 4, 2005, we built this pond during a community Pond Construction Seminar. The special pond
event was significant for our organization, Exotic Aquatics and The Pond Diggers because it marked our five-year anniversary of presenting these Pond Construction Seminars, that are
open to the public. Our inaugural Pond Construction Seminar was conducted at Newell Nurseries in 2000. That original waterscape was dismantled when the nursery's parking lot was enlarged.
The new 10’ x 14’ pond features a double-wide waterfall with an 8’ stream, and is located adjacent to the Newell’s new English-style greenhouse. Newell Nurseries feature 4.5 acres of
acclimatized nursery stock, plus distinctive giftware.
Pondless Feature Two: This cute disappearing pondless waterfall is on a completely flat grade butted up next to a greenhouse.
With only a small 16” tall waterfall it give the effect of a living stream rather than waterfalls. This waterscape proves you don’t need a tall waterfall to have the impact that sound
of water has to offer. This disappearing pondless waterfall is also from the fruits of labor provided by the community in the form of a Pond Construction Seminar.
If you are in need of pond design ideas, examples of what a disappearing pondless waterfall for your backyard waterfall could be like, a wide variety of landscape plants and a gift for your
wife, you can find it all at Newell Nurseries in Yucaipa, California.

SEVENTH STREET, and turn RIGHT into the store’s parking lot, located before SIXTH STREET.
Leroy's Landscape Services
32423 Yucaipa Blvd.
Yucaipa, California 92399
This waterscape was originally a Pond Construction Seminar built in 2003. Look for the pond's multiple falls, which were designed
to be visible from Yucaipa Boulevard. This waterfall was redesigned (possibly an understatement) in an Advanced Waterfall Construction Seminar early in
2004. 6' tall and 6' wide, need we say more? Drive by in the evening for a nice visual display of fiber optic lighting and nightscape lighting.
Additionally, we installed a disappearing pondless waterfall that gives the illusion that another waterfall spills out of the original
pond and works its way throught the landscape and disappears just before the sidewalk. This pondless waterscape practically runs onto Yucaipa Boulevard. Of course since
this is a landscape service company, these waterscapes and landscape is usually splashed with colorful annual flowers.
Leroy's Landscape Services Directions:Take the I-10 EAST, exit YUCAIPA BOULEVARD, turn LEFT on YUCAIPA BOULEVARD, keep your eyes on the
right hand side of the road and if you pass Seven Eleven and hit Sands Canyon you went to far.

7621 Granite Hill Dr.
Riverside, California 92509
In May of 2003 during the annual Green Faire Exotic Aquatics and The Pond Diggers hosted a Pond Construction Seminar at the Jurupa Mountain
Cultural Center. What turned out was a wonderful waterfall that spills into an upper catch basin, than turns and meanders down a small stream that flows into an 11' x 16' waterscape
that is populated with a healthy population of goldfish, turtles, and aquatic plants. Each spring cleaning the pond has to be timed perfectly because a group of local tree frogs and
spade foot toads use this waterscape as a breeding ground and lay literally hundreds of thousands of tadpoles in our little ecosystem.
Located in the extreme heat of Southern California, this waterscape is the focal point for both sight and sound, next to the Jurupa Mountain Cultural
Centers Cactus and Succulant Nursery. You literally can find dozens of different exotic plants that you have never seen before. If you are a fan of rare succulants and cactus plants AND
