The pond installation crews at Exotic Aquatics better know as, The Pond Diggersô, have been certified by Firestone Specialty Products and was one of the founding members of the Certified Aquascape Contractors program back in 2003.
Exotic Aquatics has taught do-it-yourselfers, pond contractors, Certified Aquascape Contractors, garden clubs, men, women and children alike, proper pond construction and pond design techniques through Pond Construction Seminars events and Ponds for Schools seminars that they host each year. The Pond Diggersô speak for garden clubs, water garden and Koi pond societies, schools, rotary clubs and quite frankly any passer by that wishes to learn more about Koi ponds and water gardening.
In 2006 The Pond Diggersô have set new records in Ponds for Schoolsô community service events. Exotic Aquatics has hosted seven Ponds for Schoolsô events, building disappearing pondless waterfalls and ponds for kids, before summer break and still have three more of these events planned this fall!
Summer of 2005, Eric Triplett a.k.a. The Pond Diggerô as the team captain, led his regional Certified Aquascape Contractor team to a first-place victory in a North American Waterfall Building Competition, held during a Pond Business Industry Convention in Illinois.
Through The Pond Diggersô involvement in the Certified Aquascape Contractor Program, The Pond Diggerô assisted the Certified Aquascape Contractor program to help create a water garden for the P. Allen Smith show in Arkansas, on PBS. This segment initially aired May 2004.
In the spring of 2004, The Pond Diggerô with the team of "Certified Aquascape Contractor" review board members to build a water feature display for the Epcot Centers, International Flower and Garden Show at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Exotic Aquatics has raised over twenty-five thousand dollars for local charities and non-profit organizations over the years with their annual Pond Tour For The Cureô Charity Event, Moonlight Pond Tourô For The Cure and Desert Pond Tours fund raising events.
The Pond Diggersô, have appeared in two ABC TV Extreme Home Makeovers, and have hosted more than two dozen different Ponds for Schools programs throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties, installing both disappearing pondless waterfalls, water gardens and ponds for kids.
