Today, I had the most wonderful day with the Pond Diggers! My husband and I got the chance to see the pros in action, Wow! are they the best. Everyone was so nice and gave me information on how - not only make my pond better, but gave me the confidence to put in a waterfall/stream. If you ever get the chance to see these guys in action jump on it, you will see the best.at work. This was better than winning a day with a movie star. The pond turned out beautiful, it would be a dream come true for anyone that wanted to have a pond.

Jodi, Thanks for the kind words.

To catch everybody up to speed, the pond build at the Sims Tree Learning Center in Pedly, California was a blast.  The reason we were so quite about the build was because it was for the American Pond Kit photo shoot.

We were contracted by American Pond Kit to photo shoot the installation of both their professional pond kit and their do-it-yourself pond kits.

We were slated to do this photo shoot twice already but had to reschedule at the last second both times!  I'm not superstitious but I didn't want to jinx this install date because it is important that I get these photos and written directions to American Pond Kit, ASAP.

At anyrate we installed a 10' x 14' pond with a 10 or 15 foot stream in an area on the property that every couple of years floods out!  It is the natural bog area on the property and they have planted accordingly with Louisianna Iris', Bald Cypress trees, cat tails and much more.

We made some special accomodations for the feature including a bog area attached to the pond especially for iris'.

The Sims Tree Leaning Center is hosting their Annual Iris Trek later this month.  Everyone is invited to tour the amazing property and check out our their new pond.  Stay Tuned.

Happy Pondering,
