The Pond Digger
It seems that our winter was unusually long this year.  I just spoke to a fellow pond builder buddy of mine in Minnesota.  The report is that their temperature was up to 80 degrees last week and Easter Weekend was daytime highs of 40 and night time lows of 20!

Have no fear because reports here from Redlands, Southern California say that beautiful weather is on the way.

Our aquatic plant growing facility is starting to really burst!  None of our aquatic plants are green house grown.  Here is a list of aquatic plants that are starting to look super:  Dwarf cattails, Louisianna and Japanese Iris', golden buttons, water celery, micro swords, cannas, and much, much, more.

Here is a list of aquatic plants that I was suprised to see: Japanese Arrowhead, water lettuce, water hyacinths and even a couple of water lily blossoms.

I will keep y'awl updated.

Sincerely In Ponds,
The Pond Digger

The Pond Digger
My Savage Water Garden is starting to show signs of life all over the place! All of the varieties of pitcher plants are shooting up like mad!

We installed this Savage Water Garden late summer 2006, so this is the first season that I will get to observe these carnivorous plants in an outdoor setting from day to day all season long.

I will take lots of photos and have them posted in the photo gallery too.
