Hey JoeFish!
Well knowing where the pond is located (Palm Springs, California), I will say that we have dozens of ponds in that area that are balanced with crystal clear water in full sun!
For those watching in, temperatures can exceed 120 degrees in this area. We have a couple of ponds in these extreme temperatures that need some Ultra Violet Sterelization technology to clarify the water.
Usually the case is a pond that has a heavy fish load and more than conservative feeding routines...............
I have a BRAND NEW FILTER PAD that I am still in the BETA testing stages with that I believe can resolve this problem. Along with a few more aquatic plants and a couple of doses of The Pond Digger Brand SUPER STRENGTH bacteria we should be able to clear the water without added technology.
The customer may very well just want to move to the UV technology which is fine but lets see if we can balance the pond with other applications first.
Looking forward to the challange.............

One thing that I have found with my pond is that floating plants really help to keep the water shaded and clear.

Seven days later I can see the bottom of the pond. the best part is I can now see all of new baby Koi. Please let me know how to care for your new wonder pad.how much for new ones, how often do I need to change them?

The Pictures are hard to read on clarity but I will certainly take your passion that I felt over the phone on the clarity! It would appear that these new pads that we are still BETA TESTING seam to be something just short of miraculous considering this pond has NO AQUATIC PLANTS!
Peace,
