Q: I'm interested in the 11 x 16 American Pro Kit (Medium) and had a question on the skimmer. Does it have a lid?
A: Skimmer lid, YES! The lid is not a fake rock cover lid, it is plastic. However, it isn't that hard to hide with plants. We can certainly get a fake rock lid if you would want. The cost on the fake rock lid is approximately $100-bucks.
Q: When you do the waterfall, do you have to incorporate it in the overall length and width?
A: Yes, you will need to sacrifice a little length of the pond to accommodate a larger waterfall but your width will be fine. Great question.
Q: What options do I have to keep the pond completely 11 x 16?
A: Our construction crew takes along an additional piece of liner (10 x 10) when we are building larger waterfalls or simply can't sacrifice any of the length of the pond.
Q:Would I have to add a small stream to allow for the waterfall?
A: Set the waterfall filter box a few feet away from the ponds edge; build it up and allow yourself at least 6" of the fall on the overlap from the piece waterfall/stream liner into the pond and you won't even have to seam.
