We have something NEW to show off, Rock Column Fountains! I'm super excited about these water features!
You have to make it out to Live Oak Christmas Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch in Calimesa, California to see what I'm talking about! We installed a Four Piece Rock Column Fontain water feature near the entrance of this fun family pumpkin and christmas tree center!
One of the Rock Column Fountains is 5 feet tall, one is 4 feet tall, one is 3 feet tall and then there is a larger Rock Column Boulder Fountain at the base of the three taller peices.
I have not been a real fan of the rock columns that have been emerging over the past couple of years and have acutally resisted acceptance of the rock columns in general.
I'll tell you why. We professionally installed this Basalt Rock Column a couple of years ago that was cored through the middle in Five different spots! Seriously, this Rock was a MONSTER and was like the trunk of a giant Redwood.
Machinery was not an option for us during installation as the area was very tight. This MONSTER ROCK BASALT COLUMN took SIX serious Pond Builders 2 hours to move, lift, position and secure! What a lot of work for one Stone!
Well the Rock Column Display that I speak of at Palmer's Live Oak Pumpkin Farm is all Man Made yet is extremely natural looking! These MAN MADE ROCKS, look like REAL BASALT Rock Columns yet have very sexy looking spillways that water flows off unlike some basalt columns.
I will be laying down more text on these features for the main website so stay tuned and in the meantime head on out to the pumpkin patch and see the feature for yourself!
