There are a variety of different underwater lights available on the market today. Many of them have mounting brackets or weighted stands included in the packaging to make it convienient for the installers.

We use Oase lights in most of our installations and they infact do come with the mounting brackets and weighted stands that I speak of. In your case with the turtles you may want to consider putting a couple of stones around the base of the light because they can be pushy!

Consider looking into finding something to mount the brackets directly to the fiber glass structure of your pond. I haven't personally used the fiber glass structure so I can't reccommend anything off the top of my head. Give it a thought............

While the pond is still emtpy imagine mounting the light brackets to the fiber glass in specific spots that you want the illumination. Then just snap the lights onto the brackets. When you need to replace the bulbs just snap the light off, pull it out of the water replace the bulb and snap the light back into the pond.
