I am currently shopping for a pond kit and I am still unsure of which way to go. I was looking at getting a Laguna or a Savio kit, but came across your site. Can you please go into detail as to why American Pond Kit would be a better choice. BTW, I am looking at the 11 X 11 Freedom Series kit.  Thanks.

Hey Steveuno,

Thanks for the question. I am going to answer it with a question or few. I hope you are ready. Wink

With all due respect, It is a little tricky to give out advise on which pond construction equipment is best for you when I have no idea what your expectations are.

So with that being said:

What are your expectations of this pond you plan on installing?

How many fish do you plan on raising?

What kind of fish do you plan on raising?

What kind of maintenance are you prepared to tackle? Or not? Big Grin

American Pond Kit Freedom Series PROS:

I can tell you that American Pond Kits come with Lifetime Warranties on the skimmer and biological filter, three year warranty on the pump and 20 year warranty on the pond liner. The retail cost is very reasonalble.

Breif differences between the equipment you have mentioned are as follows:

The Laguan kit has a target audience of do it yourselfers and so does the American Pond Kit Freedom series with reasonably low pricing.

The Savio pond equipment is a more heavy duty line of equipment that is more targeted towards contractors and will most likely cost you a little more than the other two kits you are considering. The American Pond Kit Professional Series would be more compareable to the Savio Pond Construction Equipment that you are considering.

I will look forward to your answers to my questions so that I may better serve you.

Respectfully,

The Pond Digger
