The Pond Digger Forums

Hey All,

I have been a little quite here on the forum in the month of January.  Here is what is going on.  We are building a new TALKPONDS forum that is formated a little different than this one.  Not a whole lot will change but the ability to load photos will be much easier!

Loading photos has been our biggest challenge on this particular forum.

Easy to attach photos!

Contests and give-a-ways! Including our Pond MakeOver Contest!

Improved On-Line Tech Department with step by step construction photos.  Including Pondless Waterfall installation, bottom drain installation, rock column installations, step by step Spring Clean Our procedures, step by step Fall prep proceedures and much more!

Ponds For Schools will now have their own place in the forums where we can document each installation and load the photos of all the students helping out!  FUN!

We welcome any suggestions, comments, or concerns for the new forum!  We hope to launch it by Mid February!  

So sorry if things have been quite but we have some fun things in store for 2008.

I am so glad to hear this.  Your crew built my pond in May of 2007.  I joined your forum around that time.  I have joined quite a few other forums and spend and lot of my time in the mornings reading and getting new ideas from the forums.  I have been disappointed that your forum isn't more active.  Look forward to better things in the future.  One of my favorite things in looking at other peoples pond pictures on the forums.

Thanks for the feedback. I will look forward to building this forum into a fun and interactive place for pond owners all over.

I have been visiting other forums, fish breeders, fish dealers, pond manufactures, and pond distributors looking for fun and interesting topics and things to discuss.

We'll lay it down soon.

I happened on the new forum by using the link on the front page of www.exoticwaterscapes.com (I was looking to sneak a peak at the "Do-It-Yourself Step By Step" Spring Pond Care that's supposed to be up on the 1st) I noticed that you don't have the user's database (and existing topics) migrated over. Have you run into a problem converting the MyBB data base to the phpBB? I would be willing to help you if you need help.
