“A Pond Tour For The Cure!”
July 8th & 9th, 2006
Here we are only three short weeks away from our Seventh Annual Parade of Ponds Charity event. Last year I had an amazing compliment from a couple of tour-goers that our Parade of Ponds outdid the Redlands Home Tour!
That seriously blew me away. That was the ultimate compliment considering, the Redlands Home Tour is so awesome! We’re constantly striving to make our pond tours more outstanding and memorable.
I am writing you today to ask you for your help. I want this year’s Parade of Ponds tour to be the most memorable to date, but in a different way!
The highest dollar amount we have ever raised is $4,000.00 from our event. Our companies goal is to double that dollar amount and I figured the best way to do that is to share our goal with you.
I told a pond tour participant last year that I had hoped for a larger attendance, in order to raise more money for our benefactors and he said, “Well you should have said something earlier?” “We could have promoted the tour at our office and I certainly would have talked it up a little more if I thought about it that way!”
So here I am today; I’m asking you to step up to the plate to help us achieve our goal of raising $8,000.00 for our benefactors this year! I want this to be our goal! All we’re asking from you is to talk it up a little more at work, on the baseball diamond or while you’re out with your friends!
I’m serious; tell everyone you know we are raising money to help cure diabetes on “A Pond Tour For The Cure” 2006. We can send you a poster if you have a special spot to hang it where the highest volume of people will see it. Give us a call if you can help. Together we can do this!
