Big Grin Hi,

I just finished digging my pond, lol sure wish I had found your site before hand!
I live in wisconsin and could use some advice.
We used a pool liner, not sure how it will hold up vs pond liner?
I have a full pond, lol but after reading in this forum I know I
have alot more work to do to make my pond as it should be.
I have a pump so far and a fountain that we have hooked up to run into the pond.
No fish or plants as of yet,8 ducklings and plenty of algae tho Rolleyes

I know I need to get rock for my pond, but am wondering how deep they should be and if rock size matters?
My pond is about 15' x 12'  and 18" deep at the deepest part.
I have a Wayne 550 gph pump.
This is kind of a test pond for now to see if we want it deeper or if we need to change anything before we start adding plants.
Loved the savage pond, its beautifulBig Grin
We have some lime stone rocks we started putting in,is that a bad thing?
(Read in the forum about phos levels)
and we are also gathering other rocks we like to add in and around.
I know I need a skimmer, and bacteria to add,I think my pump is to small but not sure since I have ledges around the sides.
I have tons of questions, lol but i'll stop for now.
Thanks for any advice and  do's/don't you can give me.
adding a picture to make things easierBig Grin
or not,it said the file is too bigSad
can email it to you if it helps.

thanks,Shari
