In the WET LAB you will learn how to biopsy fish and identify parasites under a microscope, administer anesthesia and how to properly inject antibiotics.. Vicki Vaughn is director of Aquatic Services at the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine and the Director of KOILAB, a complete diagnostic service for fish.

A microscope is highly recommended for the wet lab. You may bring your own or preorder the Pond RX 400x magnification thorough us for only $139. The day of the wet lab the microscopes will be $189.

Sunday 24th 8:30am to 4pm
Wet lab – Hands-on experience scraping samples from problem areas, giving injections to fish and examining tissues under a microscope with Vicki Vaughn. Continental breakfast with lunch included.
