I am writing for consideration of receiving a pondless waterfall. I have seen the website for the Ponddigger-exotic Aquatics and have found some beautiful examples of your work. Just by looking at the pictures, I get such a feeling of serenity and peace that I feel the need to tell you why it is important to me.
My husband was diagnosed with breast cancer last summer. Surgery and mastectomy were performed. He is now undergoing chemotherapy. This event can be devastating for a woman and I believe equally for a man. A woman can lose her hair-he lost his beautiful handlebar mustache. This was his signature and recognizable feature as a father, administrator and teacher in Redlands. Although the prognosis is positive he still is tired and becomes occasionally low in spirits due to the chemotherapy.
He has always been a waterperson. He was a swimming instructor, lifeguard and swam competively. He loves the sound of the waves at the beach and likes to hike the streams and waterfalls in the Sierras. he boats at the river.
Water has always given him a way to get away from pressure and stress. He is now at a stage where he doesn't have the strength to do these things and I cannot imagine anything better for him than sitting by a waterfall and listening to the sound of the one thing that gives him so much-the sound of water.
I cannot thing of a better present to give him at Christmas than this.
Thank you for your consideration,
